Woohoooo! We are going to have another BEARDSLEY FAMILY REUNION in 2018! Details to follow soon.....
About The Beardsley Family
Hello Everybody,
Welcome to the BEARDSLEY FAMILY TREE! Since starting this website, we have rapidly increased the Family Tree to 1,301 years of Beardsley Ancestry, a total of 38 generations, and 367 family members. The recent discovery of Leofric I, Earl of Leicester does not yet show the multilple generations that led back to him. That is still a lot of work I have to do to add the missing puzzle pieces that I know into this database.
It has already been seven years since we decided to document our ancestry for future generations of Beardsley's and their offspring. It has been an awful lot of work but largely a labor of love!
Special Thanks go out to my sister Kathleen Rae for all of her support and assistance in this endeavor! Pretty cool, eh? I have been wanting to do this for a very long time now, so I hope that you enjoy this website.
We had a BEARDSLEY FAMILY REUNION on August 1, 2009 at Gravel Pit Park. We had our second Family Reunion in 2015 and we are having our next one in 2018 Details to follow! Additionally, thanks to our newfound Beardsley Cousins John Beardsley and Valarie Beardsley Beadle we have traced our ancestry all the way back to the infamous William Beardsley... the oldest immigrant to America from England... and even back further than that to William's father Hugh "BERDSLEY", grandfather JOHN and great grandfather RAPHE all of which were born and died in England as far back as 1520!
And as of 12/18/2016 we have uncovered the ancestry of the wife of Hugh "BERDSLEY" back to a man named Henry de Hassall born in the year 1208 !! The "de Hassall" (later shortened to Hassall) Family lineage also lived all those centuries in the United Kingdom. So yes, we are quite the "BRITS", I would say !!! Tea, anyone ??

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
